Chilton Trust (“CTC”) is a private wealth management firm launched in 2010 by Richard L. Chilton Jr.  CTC offers full-service, bespoke private wealth management services, including asset allocation advice, management of separate portfolio accounts, tax advice, trust and estate planning and family office services.  CTC has offices in Charlotte, Connecticut, Delaware, Naples, New York and Palm Beach.

Position Description:
The Analyst will have responsibilities and tasks that include but are not limited to the following:
  • Work closely with the local team to coordinate all necessary resources to provide clients with wealth and investment service, including collaboration with clients’ teams of advisors (i.e., accountants, lawyers, etc.).
  • Assist with daily client requests (including moderate family office services), coordinate the movement of assets and distributions, help implement investments as directed, assist in the preparation and delivery of reports and address any compliance issues.
  • Perform the day-to-day administration of trust accounts and any estate administration, including principal and income accounting, completion of Reg 9 reviews, etc.
  • Coordinate preparation for client meetings, and complete follow-up, etc., working directly with client relationship teams to support clients on an ongoing basis
  • Work with Operations and Reporting teams to ensure proper execution of daily tasks, cash management, disbursements, proper account funding, subscriptions and redemptions etc.
  • Assist with the new client on-boarding procedure to ensure a smooth and timely transition to the Chilton Trust investment advisory platform. This includes preparing new account opening documents, coordinating asset transfers and working closely with custodians
  • Prepare Investment Policy Statements and regularly monitor compliance with proposed asset allocation.
  • Assist with daily account administration – review of client statements, obtaining third-party manager performance and holdings reports, addressing accounting issues, managing client files, etc.
  • Work closely with our preferred custodians to manage day to day client transactions and execute client service tasks.
  • Input data into various systems (ex. CRM) and interface with clients to obtain information as needed.
  • Process annual account reviews and various audit requests
  • Help maintain marketing materials and preparation of prospective client presentations, including requests for proposals
  • Utilize Contact Relationship Management database for marketing and client communication.
  • Provide support as needed on various ad-hoc tasks, such as firm sponsored events for clients, prospects and partners of the firm, and assist other departments as needed and assigned.

Candidate Description:
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • 0 -2 years of work experience in a wealth management firm or family office services setting.
  • Internship or first role in financial services in either an operations capacity or client service
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, organizational skills, attention to urgency and detail, and deadline oriented.
  • Clear and concise oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to work successfully both independently and in a team environment.
  • Energetic, dynamic, highly motivated, ethical & mature, with an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Systems knowledge: Microsoft Office – especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word, Addepar a plus
